What is Chart Stories, and who can use it?

Chart Stories is a Pro-only creator studio inside the Sheets add-on. Portrait Story turns a comparison into animated bars with portraits and optional logos. Ranking Race animates changing rankings over dated observations. Add titles, sources and reviewed captions; publish an interactive link or embed; export PNG/PDF or silent MP4. It is included with active monthly and yearly Chart Pro subscriptions, with no additional purchase. Trial and Starter do not include it.

What is Dynamic Chart, and which plan includes it?

Dynamic Chart turns date-based Google Sheets data into an animated line chart with play, pause, restart, and speed controls. It supports absolute values or percentage change and works in shared links and website embeds. Dynamic Chart is available only with a Pro account, on both monthly and yearly billing. It is not included in Trial or Starter.

What data formats does Chart support?

Any data in Google Sheets works. Put headers in row 1 (these become labels), numeric data in subsequent rows. One column serves as the X-axis (e.g., months, categories), and the other columns become data series on the Y-axis.

Can I have multiple data series on one chart?

Yes. Select multiple data columns when creating the chart. Each column becomes a separate series with its own color. Works with bar, line, and radar charts. Pie and doughnut charts are best with a single data column.

Does the chart update when I change my spreadsheet?

Click Publish again after changing your data, and the chart updates everywhere it's embedded. You can also enable Live Sync in the add-on. Dynamic Chart is the Pro-only animation feature that plays through your published data over time.

Can I embed charts on WordPress?

Yes. You get a standard iframe embed code that works on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or any website that allows HTML. Just paste the code into a Custom HTML block.
